Surya Sharma will be seen in a good role opposite Bhumi Pednekar in Bhakshak. According to claims on an entertainment portal, Red Chillies Entertainment is now preparing to take an investigative crime-thriller dubbed Bhakshak to the big screen. Bhumi Pednekar has been cast in the film by the producers. She will be featured in the role of a journalist attempting to expose a heinous fraud rampant in Bihar.
Pulkit, who previously directed Rajkummar Rao’s online series Bose: Dead or Alive, will direct the film. He has also written the film’s script and hopes to begin filming in January.
According to reports, Bhakshak is based on the 2018 Muzaffarpur shelter home case, in which scores of vulnerable girls staying at the shelter were molested, raped, and tortured. Following widespread indignation and demonstrations, the CBI took up the investigation. The Delhi High Court condemned the principal who accused Brajesh Thakur to life in jail in 2020.
Surya Sharma In Bhakshak
Surya Sharma of Undekhi fame has landed a part in Bhakshak, a film in the larger leagues of Bollywood. The actor plays the antithesis of actress Bhumi Pednekar in the Red Chillies Entertainment flick. “Unlike in Undekhi, I play the nice guy here,” adds Sharma, who has snuck in to impersonate a Bihari resident.
Because the drama is set in the countryside, the actor trained for two months to perfect the dialect. “I visited a lot of YouTube channels before deciding on a language.” It was difficult since, having come from the north, I had already picked up the Punjabi accent, followed by the Haryanvi. “I didn’t know if I was on the right route [or not] until I got to the set,” the actor told Mid-Day. “Bhumi is a beautiful person. I’ve spent time with her at workshops, rehearsals, and readings, and I now consider her a friend.”
Surya Sharma is a television actor from India. He is well-known for his work on the television show Kaala Teeka. In addition to television projects, he has worked in cinema and online series throughout his career.
