John Abraham has left no stones unturned in promoting his movie Attack, released on April 1st. The actor seems confident that Attack would perform well at the theatres since it is slightly different from other action movies.
As the movie releases today at the box office, it has sparked murmurs about its business compared to “RRR”.
Taran Adarsh, a prominent trade analyst, has stated that the existence of “RRR” and “TKF” may hamper John Abraham’s “Attack” at the box office.
Both films may have a different impact on the business of Attack.
Vivek Agnihotri’s directed “The Kashmir Files” will soon enter the fourth week and rake in the hoolah on weekdays.
‘RRR’ made by the godly hands of S.S Rajamouli is selling like hot cake in the cinema. Globally, the movie has raked in more than 700 crores, and it shows no signs of slowing down.
Attack Vs RRR
He also talked about the film garnering only one-digit opening on the first day. But it is hard to predict anything since the screen count of Attack hasn’t been disclosed yet. Also, Pen Studios is responsible for the distribution of both the movies ‘RRR’ and ‘Attack’.
Another trade analyst from South India predicted that there is no scope for ‘Attack’ in the south because of the dominance of ‘RRR’. So, initially, Attack has to fight for the survival opposite RRR. But, after two weeks, biggies like “KGF: Chapter 2 and “Beast” will be ready to hit the screens. So, competing with the two magnum opus together at box-office seems impossible for the ‘Attack’.
However, the film’s trailer has received a tremendous response from the audience. What really grips you from the start of the trailer is its unique concept and storyline. Predictions are that the aggressive promotions of the “Attack” may grab the audiences in the theatres.
Earlier, Akshay Kumar’s “Bachchhan Pandey” had to bear the loss as “TKF” acquired the audiences in the cinemas. But, after many years, the movie couldn’t live up to the expectations and was declared Khiladi Kumar’s first flop.
For the unversed, “Attack” is helmed by Lakshay Raj Anand starring John Abraham, Rakul Preet Singh, and Jacqueline Fernandez in pivotal roles.
