K V Vijayendra Prasad, a well-known writer who is most known for his newest film, RRR, has hinted that the film may receive a sequel soon. In an interview with the media, he disclosed that he had already proposed some concepts to Jr NTR and S S Rajamouli, implying that things may fall into place later.
RRR is a period drama directed by ‘Jakkanna’ that centers on the fictional friendship between famed freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Bheem. Jr NTR portrays the tribal chief, while Ram Charan plays ‘Manyam Veerudu.’ It premiered on March 25 and earned Rs 223 crore (gross) on its first day at the global box office, surpassing Baahubali 2.
A week after its premiere, the film remained the people’s favorite, as seen by the fact that it dominated this week’s new movie Attack in the Hindi belt. It has so far grossed Rs 819 crore globally, making it India’s sixth highest-grossing film.
Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran, and Ray Stevenson star in RRR. Ajay Devgn, a Bollywood actor, plays Ram Charan’s father in the film. His involvement with the film aided it in surpassing expectations in the Hindi market.
Should Fans wait for RRR Sequel?
Now that RRR is out in theatres, Rajamouli will focus on his film starring Mahesh Babu. The film will be set in a forest and appeal to adventure story fans. There have been rumors that the Baahubali director may collaborate on a big-budget film with Allu Arjun, who became a pan-India sensation with Pushpa: The Rise.
On the other hand, Vijayendra Prasad is now working on Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, the sequel to the 2015 smash Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It reunites him with Salman Khan, who starred in the first installment and is expected to tell a touching story. He’ll almost certainly have a touching story to tell. Rowdy Rathore 2 is also likely to be related to him.
