In a recent episode of Lock Upp, Mandana Karimi’s confession left everyone emotional and teary-eyed. She revealed how she had an affair with a filmmaker. Mandana spoke about the time when she was going through a separation from her husband. At that time, she was having a secret affair with a film director.
Lock Upp is a popular reality show where contestants have to reveal the truth to survive until the finals. Contestants in the charge sheet are shown a word related to their secret. Contestants have to go for the buzzer and reveal the secret to save themselves.
Mandana was shown the word, “ace director”. She managed to ring the buzzer and saved herself from eviction. Mandana started crying and asked for a few minutes. She said, “There was a period in my life when I was completely lost on social media. I was struggling with my situation after my divorce from my husband.

Mandana participated in Big Boss 9 and was second runner-up. She got married to Gaurav Gupta. She filed a domestic violence case against her husband and mother-in-law as she was physically abused and insulted by both.
Later, she withdrew the case and took divorced her husband after six months of marriage. Further, she added, “When I got pregnant, he backed off. The reason was that he was not mentally and emotionally prepared to take care of his responsibility.
He also asked her friend to convince her to plan an abortion”. So she opted to undergo an abortion. Mandana also revealed, “I kept the relationship secret because I was not yet divorced. This secret of Mandana left contestants as well as the host, Kangana Ranaut in tears.
