A writer named Rajneesh Jaiswal has accused the producers of Jersey of plagiarising his script, and the case is currently in court.
Jersey was originally scheduled for release in December 2021. The film was forced to be postponed due to the lockdown and the third wave of Coronavirus. It has been pushed back for the second time, and will now be released on April 22.
