Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor finally tied the knot in a private ceremony on 14 April. Their wedding pictures are still making noise on social media. Both Alia and Ranbir exchanged the rings o their D day. Ranbir Kapoor got a band and Alia Bhatt got a diamond ring in exchange.
Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan didn’t miss a chance to offer a precious gift to her son-in-law Ranbir. Soni Razdan gifted Ranbir Kapoor an expensive watch, a brand that is not easily available. The cost of the watch is Rs 2.50 crores. Guests present at the wedding got Kashmiri shawls as gifts that were specially picked by Alia.
The quality of the shawls was incredibly fine and everybody likes them. The wedding took place according to Punjabi tradition. But the main attraction for the bride, the “Chuda ceremony” was missing from the wedding. The reason being quoted as Alia is going to start her Hollywood shoot debut alongside Hollywood actor Gal Gadot.
As per Punjabi rituals, the newly-wed bride has to wear the choda for at least forty days. So, Alia skipped the choda ritual. Juta chupai ritual was fun in the wedding as Alia’s girl gang demanded Rs 11.5 crores from the bridegroom Ranbir. But the latter fixed the deal at one lakh and handed over the envelope containing one lakh to the bride’s side.

Alia Ranbir’s wedding was a private affair attended by family members and close friends. The wedding took place at Ranbir’s house “Vastu”. Vastu was chosen as a wedding venue instead of any posh hotel as Vastu at Pali Hill in Bandra holds a special place in Ranbir’s life, love, and relationship.
Karan Johar, Luv Ranjan, Navya Naveli Nanda, Aryan Mukerji, Akash Ambani and Shloka Ambani were among the guests who attended the wedding. Security remained tight at the wedding venue. No pictures were allowed to be taken by the paparazzi. But however, photographers managed to click pictures of celebrities in their cars.
Mahesh Bhatt, father of Alia Bhatt applied mehndi on his palm. Pooja Bhatt waved at the photographers, flaunting her mehndi. Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima were captured in-camera by paparazzi in ethnic wear.
Overall, though the wedding was a private affair, the duo stole the limelight on social media. They made their first appearance as a couple at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding reception in Mumbai in 2018.
