The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri and starring Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Mithun Chakraborty, and Darshan Kumar, was a movie office success. It is the highest-earning Bollywood film of the year, grossing Rs. 251 crore. The film is now preparing for its OTT release. The Kashmir Files will be available on Zee5 shortly, according to Vivek Agnihotri, who announced the news on Instagram.
“The extraordinary response to our simple endeavor to bring you the truth about Kashmiri Pandits has been unreal,” he said. We thank the audiences for their support and hope that more people become aware of the reality about Kashmir, with #TheKashmirFiles premiering shortly on #ZEE5.
“The Kashmir Files is not simply a film, but a passion and a movement,” Agnihotri remarked of the film’s OTT release. I am delighted that the film’s theatrical premiere was met with such a positive reception throughout the world, and I am confident that with its World Digital Premiere on India’s largest domestic video streaming platform – ZEE5, it will reach even more people and continue to strike a chord with millions.”
More About The Kashmir Files
“The Kashmir Files has garnered a big reaction from viewers,” said Manish Kalra, Chief Business Officer of ZEE5 India, “and we are thrilled to deliver it exclusively on ZEE5, making it available to millions of Indians.”
The film’s specific OTT release date has yet to be confirmed. However, we are confident that the public would be eager to watch the film on Zee5. Agnihotri previously directed The Tashkent Files, and his next feature will be The Delhi Files. He said on Instagram a few days ago, “I appreciate all the folks that owned #TheKashmirFiles.”
We have worked really hard over the previous four years with the utmost honesty and integrity. I apologize for spamming your TL, but it’s critical to raise awareness of the GENOCIDE and injustice perpetrated against Kashmiri Hindus. It’s time for me to start working on a new project, #TheDelhiFiles.”
