Armaan Kohli’s Bail Rejected by NDPS Court, Know Why?

Last year in August, actor Armaan Kohli was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for having around 1.2gm of cocaine. The NCB conducted a search at Armaan’s Andheri residence regarding a drug-related case after his name popped up when the police were questioning a drug peddler, Ajay Singh, who was arrested the same day.

It was said in a statement that Armaan was found to have links with drug peddlers and some foreign nationals. Since then Armaan has been serving in Arthur Road jail, Mumbai.

Armaan Kohli, who is the son of 91-year-old veteran filmmaker Rajkumar Kohli has made his name with appearances in films like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Jaani Dushman, Veer, and Juaari, LOC, Qahar. He made his debut in 1982 as a child artist and his official debut in 1992 in the film Virodhi, has been part of over 15 films and he was also expected to be part of a film titled “No means No” which was supposed to be released in 2022 which is highly unlikely now.

He was also part of Bigg Boss in the 7th season, where he was surrounded by many controversies for being too aggressive with other contestants and was also accused of assaulting one of the contestants Sofia Hayat in the house, he was also reprimanded by Salman Khan for his bad behavior in the house.

Now, in a recent development actor Armaan Kohli’s bail plea was rejected by the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) court on his case. NCB officials in a statement said that the reason for rejection was due to the fact that there is very strong evidence present for his involvement in drugs trafficking.

Armaan’s application for bail was for taking care of his mother who is suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease. Unfortunately, his bail plea was also rejected last year, we would hope and wish the best for his future.
