As one might expect with all Marvel Studios projects, there’s usually a stipulation that you can’t appear in other comic book franchises. While, however, Theron cameoed on The Boys before the studio approached her for the role. According to a recently published interview with Variety, Marvel’s reactions to her Amazon Prime appearance were surprising.
“The Boys” and the Marvel Cinematic Universe both revolve around superheroes, but the two movies could not be more dissimilar. As a family-friendly franchise, One presents its crusaders as symbols of honor, justice, and hope. Another is a satire with a murkier tone, portraying superheroes in an ultraviolent and unhinged light.

However, “The Boys” and Marvel do have one thing in common, and that’s the presence of Charlize Theron. As Stormfront, she made an appearance in the third season of “The Boys” prior to her cameo appearance in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”
And the actress revealed Marvel’s surprising reaction to her appearance in the Amazon Prime series in an interview. She said that she was very transparent with Marvel, and they said, ‘This is great.’
She also mentioned how much she admires the executive producer of ‘The Boys’ and all of his partners at Point Gray. She also said that she absolutely love them, and the show. “I think the show is really smart,” she added.
