Khamosh! The daughter of Shatrughan Sinha combines her mother Poonam’s beauty with the panache and intensity of her father. Sonakshi Sinha swiftly ascended the fame stairs by playing opposite nearly all of Bollywood’s prominent lead actors after beginning her career alongside Salman ‘The Bhai’ Khan.
Nobody can dispute that she is one of the leading ladies of modern Hindi film, despite the criticism she frequently receives for selecting roles with little room for growth and potential.
It’s hard to say with any certainty how long this trend will last. Enjoy this list of Sonakshi Sinha’s best films until then, and let us know which one is your favorite by leaving a comment. Cheers.
Sonakshi Sinha in Lootera
Lootera narrates the tale of a thief who travels to Manikpur to steal money but ends up leaving with much more. It is loosely inspired by the short story “The Last Leaf.” Intent on robbing the Chaudhary family of their money, ordinary thief and conman Varun Shrivastav (Ranveer Singh) instead falls for Pakhi, the housekeeper (Sonakshi Sinha).
But on their wedding day, he steals everything they own that is important and flees. They reunite in Dalhousie after a year, with Varun running from the law and Pakhi dying of tuberculosis. The encounter reignites their romance, and both of them are forced to make difficult decisions. Both the actors’ acting and the photography were superb.
This film stands out because it was completely different from any other that Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha had previously collaborated in. You can consider this movie to be smack dab Bollywood mainstream meat since it is an action thriller with just the perfect amount of humor and cheek.
In the movie, Sonakshi Sinha’s character Chanda falls in love with Romeo Rajkumar, played by Shahid. Then the antagonist, Shivraj, or Sood Sonu. Naturally, he, too, develops feelings for the heroine and wants to retain her for himself. A standard hero against villain fight follows where you don’t get points for predicting who will prevail in the end.
